Comment:

Some side notes: "Sickness," which Jason chose, won out in a close call over a Plastic People of the Universe song; "Big Dipper" was substituted for Grandmaster Flash & the Furious 5's "Freedom," which like the Donner Party song preceding it also began with a pair of drumsticks tapping a four-count; "One Day with You" came about because the Stampfel song made me think, "Gee, doesn't the new Crenshaw have some surf instrumentals on it? Wait, 'Our Town' from Field Day works better...in fact, there's 5 minutes left and 'One Day,' which is a better song and also works, is five minutes long"; I'd mistakenly originally chosen the Isley's "Fight the Power" rather than "That Lady" (the idea was to follow the soaring guitars of "Cosmic Slop") and corrected my mistake--though it would've been interesting since Jason had planned on following "Power" with Sonic Youth's "Youth Against Fascism".

This will be written up in Greatest Hits: A Mixtape 'Zine no. 2--coming soon, details to follow
