Comment:
For a trade with Marie_H. Somehow, a religious theme developed. In any case, it's a dark, introverted mix. I hope she likes it. [Note: There's a cover for this mix, but the site doesn't seem to want to retain it when I upload. Alas.] [Second note: Seems the cover is only viewable in the Image Gallery. Weird. It's there if you wanna see it, though.]
Feedback:
I love the title, but I am unfamiliar with most of this.
VERY nice. I dont see it as having a religious undertone so much as a "goth" feel ( see my mix "FALL") The cover is awsome. Is that Claire Dane?
This is gorgeous in every way.
Ditto Rob!
Nice mix here and the cover fits quite well. The LSD into Mira is beautiful.
I love the title of this mix and the artwork, I only know 2 of the tracks though! It looks like it is very beautiful.
Wow - thanks Heather; this looks absolutely wonderful and there's a lot of stuff which I'm not too familiar with - always good to broaden the horizons! Yours should be up shortly...can't wait to hear this! :)
Very nice cover. Well done! Also great picks in there by The Church. I didn't care for their latest one that much, but the one Radiance is from "After Everything, Now This" is quite good. Also nice to see Porcupine Tree and Hex in there. Eric from Faith & Disease is a friend of a friend. Cheers! Brent in Seattle
I'm betting this is lovely to listen to. Mira is always an excellent choice.
A mix made from heaven, I mean Heather, a wonder-full thing. Especially love Rose Polenzani, Departure Lounge, and Porcupine Tree (I always thought their CDs looked intriguing, but had no idea what kind of music they were.) Rebekah del Rio has an amazing voice, and that Hex track has been a favorite since my college days. 100% lovely!
Cantara is right - this IS lovely to listen to. I received this the other day and it has honestly been barely out of my stereo the whole weekend - it's one of those mixes which you can listen to on a loop and keep discovering gorgeous little snippets of sound which had gone previously unnoticed, and yet it washes over you with such a sense of familiarity - the flow of the last 5 or 6 tracks is wonderful. Really beautiful, Heather, and thank you for introducing me to some previously unheard artists (Rose Polenzani, Porcupine Tree) - I'd be more than willing to trade again! :)
