Comment:
I have recently become a huge fan of collegiate a cappella. This CD is a mix of some of the best tracks I've found (obviously the emphasis is on oldies tracks). The artist names in parenthesis are those listed by the various a cappella groups when giving credit for the particular arrangement of the song they used.Feedback:
God bless you, ProudestM! What the world (and this website) needs more of are a-cappella covers. There are hundreds of them out there from colleges everywhere, yet they remain almost completely invisible in the music community. You've got a nice collection here, highlights being "Don't Worry Baby", "Me & Julio", "Higher and Higher", and, even though I don't care for the original version, "Pinball Wizard". If you have more a-cappella tunes you like or own, I wholeheartedly encourage you to whip up s'more mixes for them. A-cappella is one of the gimmick genres that actually works as genuinely good music. Thanks for helping put it on the map, ProudestM :)
This looks truly great. Would like to trade for this, but you don't have an e-mail address. Can you list it so we can swap?
I've recently become in the know about collegiate acapella because my brother is a member of the Stanford Mendicants. May i suggest a little University of Oregon On The Rocks? they're my fave.
