I made this mix for a road trip theme challenge--the title and cover were actually inspired by a dream I had a few years ago, described in this journal excerpt: I dreamt I was riding on the back of an old crush's motorcycle, down a winding road through fields of wildflowers, and he told me to look back and I could see the night behind us, a neat line splitting gentle summer sun from pitch black in which planets hung big as barns scraping the horizon, like those posters where whales leap through space with the rings of Saturn in the background.
