Comment:
hopefully fun fun party/drive to work music for Al for her birthday tommorow, given to her to day for entertainment as she drives to work (on her day off!). From the sounds of somebody's stomach to hyper prog-Disco efforts to processed sounds of public transport, i think this spells a fairly fun time. The Prince/Jaxx segway is in it's own way obvious and fairly clumsy, but that PATR song ends well awkwardly, so what are you or I gonna do? The Ramm:Ell:Zee track is the poppiest/weirdest from his new album - like electro based around a surf guitar riff calnk, interspersed with highly oblique references to 'Cheezy Lipstick' from a faintly disinterested women surrounded by wierd free-floating, pitch-shifted drums. It should be Number 1!! Thanks to Myke for a fair whack of the more dope elements of this tape... Question: why do i nearly always mis-spell 'Aretha' when i type it?Feedback:
did i even spell mis-spell right? Dumb down!
intriguing... side one is especially good, diggin' pentangle + prince + the sharrocks...
Ditto Krautfreak...I've noticed yr on a Cocteau Trip at the moment!
Great stuff here james...and a carrot-munching, too!
Lovely tape.
'eclectic' comes to mind.
Oh hey Two Lone Swordsmen, cool. I love that record, no-one really mentions it much
