I am quite aware that many of these songs keep showing up on all of my mixes of late, but this is somewhat of a grouping before I move on to entirely new material. For a friend, as a sort of introduction to my favorite songs right now. The Songs: Ohia pick is the most incredibly perfect song I've heard lately. Everlong, my favorite song from age 11 to age 14, I still believe is one of the most well-written songs of all time. I think that is the longest comment I've ever made on one of these things.
