This is a mix bringing together a bunch of great songs about Key West, Florida. It ain't what it used to be, but it is still likely warmer and more laid back than from where you departed. When my wife and I lived in South Florida, we would often pick up and take a long weekend in the Keys - and as Sunday afternoon rolled around, we would usually come down with something that would keep us out of work on Monday, yet require treatment at Capt. Tony's or Hog's Breath or The Bull. Just taking off for the Keys at a moment's notice is what I miss most about living in Florida.
I've been meaning to put this together for a little while and seeing as just yesterday my boss told me she's taking off with her hubby tomorrow on a little trip to The Conch Republic (fyi - it is pronounced "conk") it gave me a good excuse to whip this baby up and surprise her with it. Still, there's probably no chance she'll let me stow away or anything. I hate her.
