You've got two of my 3 Clash faves (Clash City Rockers and Guns of Brixton - my third fave is the Magnificent 7). You can't go wrong with a Clash mix and this looks like a great introduction to the Clash.

This is great - The Clash are certainly an essential part of musical education! There are so many great picks here.

All of these are awesome. We need to start educating the youth of the world about the wonders of The Clash- this is a great way to start.

Generally speaking, I am not a big fan of single artist mixes; however, if this is meant to introduce a young-un to the greatness that is the Clash, then I gotta be supportive. Still, wouldn't it be easier to just by him a copy of London Calling?

The only thing that I would have liked to have seen would be Armagedeon Time..otherwise great mix!

I don't think I'll ever understand what's supposed to be so great about this band . . . Glorified pub rock and songs which, idea-wise, should generally be over after 2 minutes but noodle on for 4. And the lyrics weren't that sophisticated, either . . . ;)

I'll agree with everyone here except Mr. Mohr. (Not sure where his head is, although I could hazard a private guess.) Great intro' to the Clash. Let him buy his own copy of Sandanista and it'll be more meaningful to him.., plus you can say: "Mission accomplished." Good dad, Mo!

Actually, I'm rather afraid this collection proves you CAN go wrong with the Clash.
I think I'm in favour of building primer CDs, but if I gave this to my kids, they'd run a mile. Or put on "From Here To Eternity" instead.

An essential collection to introduce. My kids, nieces & nephews all got a clash mix from me sometime in their early teens.

Very good concept and an admirable mix. Two things, though: 1) Where's "White Riot"?!, 2) "REAL Clash Fans" may hate me for saying this, but "Rock The Casbah" really would be a great song to use as a primer for the Clash novice. Otherwise, it's all good.
