Made this one a few months ago for a friend in Arizona who singled out the XTC songs on a mix tape I made for him and said, "I think I could love this band - please send more." I'm only just mailing this tape off today 'cause I've been enjoying it so much myself (shame on me). Primary source was the 'Upsy Daisy Assortment' best-of CD... admittedly light on material from the early albums (except for the college radio "hits" I remember from my youth), but I tried to throw in a handful from the new Apple Venus albums (which i think are wonderful), and of course the psychedelic-pop mini-masterpiece "Vanishing Girl" form the Dukes of Stratosphere 'Psonic Psunspot' album.
