Comment:
Another disc in the spirit of the Back to Mine series from Ultra and DMC, and the Another Late Night series from Kinetic. Imagine a mix disc made by your favorite DJ, specifically to listen to in that special time after you get home from the club, but you are still too jacked up to go to sleep. This time, I had to up the ante. I mixed in vocal and sound effect samples that take you off on an airplane trip, and home again.
And a nice surprise that my wife pointed out: there is a story arc in the track listing too; a couple has a fight, and makes up by the end of the disc. Unintentional, but it makes me look more clever than I am, so I like it.
This could also be the disc of improbable, unusual covers. Pink Floyd, The Doors, New Order, and Roxy Music, covered by Open Door, Al Green, Flunk, and Norah Jones, respectively.
But don't think too hard about any of that. You are supposed to be chilling, coming down from your night at the club (maybe with a new friend you met there?), with this on in the background. Relax.
Turn the lights low, turn on MTV with the sound off, and drink a bottled water or two, to prevent that hangover. Spin, listen, repeat. And call me in the morning.

Feedback:
I am only getting into this kind of music as of late, so I dont recognize some of the bands right off the bat. Some, however are classics to me: Primal Scream, Moby, DJ Shadow... Excellent mood. Nice cover art ( yours?). Check out my mix "RUT"
A solid mix. Good theme -- the post-club chill disk. Death in Vegas and Shadow are really good inclusions. Also, don't you just love the Shag cover art? Good stuff.
You wouldn't believe the tortuous route that led me to this mix. Oh no, but by all that's holy, I'm glad I made the journey. Ah but now I'm possessed by the covetous demon. I desire it, I want it, and I must have it. If a spark of compassion still flickers within your soul - make it so.
