Comment:

The second mix of various movie scores. Incidentlly there were several more that could have made the cut here(but I just couldn't fit them in)...BRAVEHEART, LORD OF THE RINGS, SPEED, LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL, DRAGON, and so on. I must say that James Horner's sweeping theme for FIELD OF DREAMS is one of my all time favorite pieces of music. Perhaps because it's so optimistic, perhaps because of the beautiful build to a sweet crescendo, perhaps because it reminds me of a cinematic moment that usually makes me cry. Who's to say? Anyhow, hope these mixes have been a source for amusement, thanks for reading and pass the popcorn. Cheers! -Famous.

Looks good, looks good. Just watched Snatch though, so I've got a completely different view of music in movies going through my head. Good to see LOTR's was considered... Kinda ran out of stuff to say due to my last comment... If you ever feel up to it, I recommend Joe Hisaishi's, I just mentioned this, Princess Mononoke score, bought that one without hesitation. This may prove to be inspiring... we'll see.

I was pleased as punch to see Silvestri's theme from "Forrest Gump" on this mix. Delightful. +, of course, inevitable cheers for the great Danny Elfman. Fans grow sour, but true fans never lose their wonder. Check out his score for 'Sleepy Hollow,' a criminally underrated (in my humble opinion) work. Out.
