Comment:
My original reason was to find out if there was any way in hell Amtrak could get me to South Dakota.No.So the REAL reason turned out to be so I cold cut up the system timetable and make cover art out of it.This is a tape I've been promising a friend of mine I'd make for her. It took half a year, but here it is... sadly, as I write this, she has yet to receive it.The intros and outros are all from the "Intro" track on Todd Rundgren's 1972 "Something/Anything?" album:Side A Intro is "If you have a pair of headphones, get 'em out and get 'em cranked up, 'cause they're really gonna help you on this one."Side A outro is "Peas popping."Side B intro is "Here's what happens when the machine gains control and mangles your tape."Side B outro is "Now all you gotta do is find these songs on the record, and whoever finds the most wins, of course. But don't--" followed by a record scratch. One day, this tape will find its way to its intended recipient. When it does, I hope she enjoys it. Until then, I'm listening to it... it sounds pretty damn good from here.(Update: Accomplished.)Feedback:
I think I love you.
This one is ten kinds of cool.
