This is another "old" mix - one of the few that I didn't write the date anywhere on the j-card, but looking at the songs on it, it's a good a representation as any of what kind of music I listened to circa 1994-95. The first track is by an amazing but sadly little-known early 90's alt-metal band called Clockhammer - one of my favorite bands of all time actually - I call them alt-metal by default - actually they're very difficult to categorize (emo-alt-jazz-metal is closer)... think if Metallica had been fronted by Nick Drake and listend to a lot of Charles Mingus and REM.
