Comment:
This mix was the result of a conversation with a much younger friend who was praising the Nancy Sinatra track that opens "Kill Bill." Said friend wondered if Nancy was related to Frank and I decided some kind of educational mix regarding the kin of celebs was in order. I know I'm forgetting some good choices, and there are probably lots I don't even know about, so feedback is greatly appreciated. (That's Frank, Jr. mugging with Nancy in the pic.)Here's the breakdown:
1) Frank's little girl.
2) Son of Dean, son of Lucy and Desi, and some poor kid not born into celebrity royalty.
3) Son of Jerry Lewis.
4) George Young on guitar - brother of Angus and Malcolm Young.
5) Liv Tyler's mom. (Nothing from dad - not a fan.)
6) Featuring Mickey Leigh - Joey Ramone's brother.
7) Kim's sister.
8) Featuring Doodles Weaver, Sigourney's uncle.
9) Neneh Cherry, step-daughter of Don.
10) Bob Dylan's boy.
11) Jeff Buckley's pop (yeah, the polarities are reversed on this one - but remember, this is for someone who didn't know about the Frank/Nancy connection, so...)
12) John and Yoko's pup.
13) Lorreta Lynn's kid sister and the Son of God.
14) Rufus's dad.
15) Rufus's mom (Kate).
16) Woody's boy.

Feedback:
Making school fun! Boss Rip, Rig & Panic choice.
I never knew that Doodles Weaver was related to Sigourney! I haven't thought about the Rattler's in years! And I'm a sucker for "This Diamond Ring". Hokey? Yes. But catchy as hell.
Great mix...can't go wrong with a Doodles Weaver song, I suppose!
