Going on an 11 hour car trip with my dad to go to a wedding and there is NO way, I'm letting him listen to Anastacia all the way there... Think of it as an education in taste. I know the title has nothing to do with cars / car trips but Im listening to Whiskeytown just now so I couldn't care less... Do you reckon there's a law about putting Whiskeytown and Ryan Adams together?

I suppose not. I mean, I put The Bens and Ben Folds or Kweller together on my mixes all the time. Nice mix.

I saw the Whiskeytown related title and came to have a look. You have a really similar taste in music to people I know. I probably should now go and check your address to see if you ARE someone I know, but I'll settle for looking silly. I don't see anything wrong with putting the two together, I just personally wouldn't because I like to juxtapose and keep things interesting.

in your case, I don't think there's anything wrong with the whiskeytown/ryan adams pairing. mainly because the two songs you picked are SO different from each other, so it's not like you put two that sound alike. nice job all around!
