I was asked to make some mixes for someone on one of the mailing lists I'm on, and I was feeling a bit melancholy. The first side came together easily, but the second took me days to finish. I'm still not entirely happy with it (had hoped to fit the Red House Painters in there somewhere), but considering there's ultra-acoustic stuff sitting right next to electronic stuff, I think it flows pretty well. It's a great tape to go to sleep to. (Elysian Fields is a perfect group for that.) Oh, and this was made on a 120-minute tape.
