This compilation started as a response to my growing interest in how robots and automatons have been perceived throughout history through the present. I found that most of the robot-influenced music available was either Punk, Emo, or a flavour of Techno; I have attempted to make a playful and diverse representation of the influence the idea of robots has had upon music artists. I attempted to find tracks that related emotional and sympathetic responses towards robots. - Kiad

Kewl! My band does a song called "Dancing Robots" - a very sympathetic look at robots. But then we usually follow it up with "Robot Rumble", which is not quite so nice. Be kind to your robot.

Fun theme. Ed Sanders' "Yodeling Robot" and the Plastics "Robot" would fit nicely on this.

Hey, this looks really nice, I love the cover too. I put together a robot mix about a week ago and I came across this looking around for what else was out there. Mine ended up with a little more breakdancing electro type stuff...again, awesome mix!
