Comment:
This mix was for a cocktail party I had in January, but I just now remembered to post the playlist here. College tends to be devoid of classy evenings, so we had a bunch of our friends over and forced them to get dressed up and mingle pleasantly. Wintertime seems somehow perfect for doo-wop and early rock, and early rock seems somehow perfect for cocktail parties. And it was snowing, and we fed people good food (that we actually COOKED; weird) and hot chocolate. It was so all-around LOVELY.Feedback:
Sounds like a great party and truely great mixes!
Not a bad song in the bunch. (Well, maybe the Sha Na Na -- I would've gone for the original.)
You're right, James, and my father said exactly the same thing to me when he heard my mixes. It really is too bad that I don't have any records at school with me because I end up just having to make do with whatever I can find.
Time machine mood music cocktail party . . . sounds great.
