Given the counter-cultural presence of Echo & the Bunnymen in the overindulgent '80s, it's no surprise "The Killing Moon" scores a particularly poignant scene in the cult film [i]Donnie Darko[/i]. Even the band's hits — the snake-charming exotica of "The Cutter," the soaring sunset soundtrack of "Lips Like Sugar" — stand out like a college student in pancake makeup.
