Comment:
A mix in honor of my friends Mike Bennett and Bob Hoag, two of the artists in the band formerly known as Peach. It was a shame to see them leave Pittsburgh for the Phoenix area close to ten years ago. Bob is one of the greatest drummers I've ever heard, as well as being a gent and a fine songwriter, to boot--he does literate, post-Descendents girl angst better than almost anyone in the business. And the twin guitar attack of Mr. Bennett (who is one of the greatest men alive) and Kevin Scanlon was always a joy to watch live. If anyone is curious, they should check out Bob's new-ish project, the Go Reflex, or investigate his work in the Frampton Brothers and Breakup Society.Feedback:
I like title! Is it a line from one of the songs? Can't say I know anything about the group though....
nice tribute to some nice blokes. and yes, bob is a drummer's drummer. and oh, the fun times on the road ... when he wasn't disappearing to Canada.
Awesome! In a just world, Pollen would have been a HUGE band. They are unbelievably great!
Wheres Bob now?
Wheres lead singer Dan now?
