the concept, songs from the years that the girl that i'm making this for and i were in HS, but she's 2yrs younger, so it was to be songs from '92-'98, but i pulled that in to give it a HS/year book packaging theme (that i don't currently have done)... most of this i was listening to at the time, very little of it i was not at the time... some of these bands have tasted success and then broke up, some became household names, some never had that much luck & just broke up, some still toil at making music in obscurity, and other dissapear w/o any of us knowing what really happened to the band or any of the members... if you know the where abouts of the Mysteries of Life, Pale Saints, Flemming & John, the Pooh Sticks or Sleeper please let me know...

THE MYSTERIES OF LIFE - ?
BIS - broke up in 2003, Manda is now in the Kitchen & the Clark brothers are Dirty Hospital
PALE SAINTS - ?
DOLLFACE - Josh & Scott started the Heatersons, after that Scott had the Legionaires, and Matt leads the New Mutes
FLEMING & JOHN - did some work w/ Ben Folds (he drums on the track on this mix for them) and John was the other half of he and Ben's Fear of Pop, present where abouts unknown
CIBO MATTO - broke up? i know Yuka put out a solo CD and Miho is in a brazian lounge act called Miho & Smokey
THE MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES - still together, but Nate Albert is now in the Kick-Offs
MEAT PUPPETS - it's just Curt & some other friends under the same name, no longer the original other members
HAM - became the Amazing Kill-0-Watts
MU330 - still livin' & rockin' (now w/ Gerry from Skankin' Pickle)
THE POOH STICKS - ?
BEN FOLDS FIVE - broke up, Ben went solo, heard Robert has a new band
THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS - still arround, they'll never die
SOUL COUGING - broke up, Mike went solo, Yuval & Sebastian are in UV Ray and Mark put out a solo CD
SLEEPER - ?
KARA'S FLOWERS - took some time off, added a member and became the Marron5
THE UNINVITED - broke up in 2002
MATTHEW SWEET - heard he was in a new band, anyone know?
RADISH - Ben Kweller succesfully went solo quite well and John still plays w/ him
THE SUGARPLASTIC - still arround, just harder to find
NO DOUBT - Eric quit before they became big superstars
FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE - hit it big after years, Dan quit & now plays w/ They Might be Giants
THE MR T EXPERIENCE - Dr Frank & Jym still in the band (under the name MTX) but Joel quit to start the Plus Ones
