Comment:

Okay, if you're going to tell me what tracks I've missed, you need to understand that the rule of this mix is: Not only does the title have either "sing" or "song" (or both), those words must be in the lyrics.

Great choices. Not sure you "missed it" but Aerosmith, Same Old Song & Dance. :)

I never knew that Jason Falkner tackled the magazine song. Nice to see the Marty Robbins pick too.

another goody, Cruella. Even though I'm sick to death of the Travis song (You would have to live in Scotland to understand), this mix looks like a winner all the way. Nice buffalo, buckley and Jim Croce selections.

England too, Gerry :) I would suggest the Carpenters' tune, but it's too annoying. Lovely mix.

One of my (English) friends reckons you have to live in Scotland to be able to understand why Travis are popular at all. :) Another really nice mix here - lovely Tim Buckley, Morrissey and Beatles especially!

I agree with Jana -- I am thankful the Carpenters didn't show up here. Lots of good stuff.

Looks fantastic Cruella la la. As you know, I'm one of those irritating people who likes to suggest "tracks you've missed": Neil Diamond's "Song Sung Blue," Styx's "Sing For the Day," and the Marshall Tucker Band's "Heard it in a Love Song." Actually those are all pretty crappy songs, so never mind.

Neat. And congrats for including one of my three favorite songs by my favorite band of all-time (the Fabs, of course).

Ah, I had thought of something like this but couldn't quite come up with it. I like the ones you've put in, & I like the ones you've left out.
Not living in Scotland, I have no problem w/ Travis; & there are some old-fashioned love songs on here, but I think we can handle that.
This is another one I want to hear!
