Comment:

I'm mid way thru Kill Bill, Go Go Yubari is dead so I thought I'd do a mix for her...she's the best thing in it and not in it enough..Tarantino doesn't convince me with full stop! Sure, there's loads of great bits but all his films (with the exception of Resevoir Dogs)are so boring between the great bits..The Japanese do it so much better...I think he should just release a DVD called The Bits That You Want To See! Enjoy!

The bar scene was classic. And yeah, the fight was way too short.

Cool mix, though I haven't seen either "Kill Bill." I liked "Reservoir Dogs" and "Pulp Fiction" well enough, but, Tarantino is too much the fetishist for my taste.

Kung Fu Girls!!! Without seeing the movie I can totally see where you're going with this theme. Is the Big Bopper "Little Red Riding Hood" the same song Sam the Sham had a hit with a few years later? I always thought it was a Sam the Sham original, but the lyrics totally fit the Big Bopper delivery.

Wow, this looks way cool. Howard Carpendale, Donny Osmond, The Rubettes, Chris Spedding and the mighty Donna Summer? Count me in. As for the movie, I kinda liked it, though it does sag a little here and there. Problem is, it's just a "finger exercise", so to speak, "to see what I could do as an action director", and that's not enough. The opening fight scene is wonderful, though, and the movie has its share of funny bits, but it never succeeds in making you care for anything - or anybody, for that matter, which is much worse - and a series of "cool" or "stylish" scenes just strung together doesn't make for a good film. I found it enjoyable, though, but it never really grabbed me in the way "Reservoir Dogs" - and we'll see if M. Tarantino will be able to surpass that lil' masterpiece in the future - certainly did. Er, did I say I thought this was a great mix? ;)

I'm loving this (even though I haven't seen Kill either Bill yet) - so many good picks! Peaches into The Birthday Party is great; there are too many on the second side to mention but wow, haven't heard that Tamperer track for a while. Nice!

Loved both Kill Bill movies (No 2 is very quotable; great one-liners). With the exception of Irene Cara (I never got the Fame thing, sorry) - this looks like an excellent mix. (and the great thing about QT is that he does inspire musical research).

you should rent BATTLE ROYALE (if you are lucky enough to find it). it's an insane little Japanese film about a class of 9th graders sent to a desert island and forced to kill one another or else they will all die at the end of the 3rd day. it's got the girl who played Go-Go in it. it's where QT discovered her, but i am assuming you already know that so this is really for anyone who hasn't to benefit from. top notch mix btw.
