Comment:
The theme of this mix is the literary trope of the "shadow city," the secret hidden city beneath/behind/beyond the "ordinary" city that we know--examples include London Below in Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere, the Morlock tunnels in X-Men, the "shadow city" in Patricia McKillip's Ombria in Shadow, and the underground civilization of the old Beauty and the Beast TV show.
Feedback:
This is awesome, very nicely thought out.
I'm trying to think of others. How about Dylan on livin' in the streets (you're gonna have to get used to it). Not sure if you care for hip hop but there are examples there, about Compton, "What Up Detroit?" etc.
