Comment:

Ohhh, some people complain about using the same artist on a mix - HOW ABOUT THE SAME SONG! Okay, it's not that crazy, but still. There will probably be a few more summer-y type mixes on there way, it'll just take me a while to fully break out of this rut. The title came from a comment I wrote in MoodyLady's blog (for all those interested). Have to thank the usual suspects on this one MoodyLady for getting me interested in George, the wonderful Miss A for the B&S song and Famous for making me think The Trews and Petty would work well together. Enjoy! (Check back often a cover is certainly on the way!)

I know, like, three of these songs, but those are good, and YOU made this, so I can only assume it's brilliant the rest of the way through, too.

First and foremost, your cover fuckin' rocks. You MUST tell me how you did that....confess Mister Bond, or we will be forced to find ways to MAKE you confess. Diggin' a lot of these choices, specially the Furtado, Petty, Phair, and Wallflowers. Here's a thought for you- if you were going to use 2 versions of "Walls", why not bookend the mix? Begin and end it with "Walls"?? Perhaps next time. I raise my glass to you my creative yankee friend. Cheers! -Famous.

Good mix. (I've used the same song on one mix, always very different versions though. And I stand by that reasoning, dang it!)

Love that cover! Great George H pick - a song I didn't know until I saw Buffalo Tom cover it live - now it's one of my fave ex-Beatle tunes.
