For a friend of mine who'd been out of work. I delayed actually sending him the mix until he'd got a new job - too depressing otherwise! Anyway, this is obviously a series of songs about work: ups, downs, and (shafted) sideways. See volume 2 here .

Excellent compilation; I would add Elvis Costello's "Welcome To The Working Week," and I think TMBG's "Put Your Hand Inside The Puppet Head" or "Memo to Human Resources" would work better with the theme, but this is loaded with great songs, a witty title, and an awesome cover to boot.
