"Pardon me Mr. Ellington, is this your black and tan?"

Lannie Garrett  Don't get around much anymore
Count plays Duke  It don't mean a thing
Diana Krall  Do nothin' till you hear from me
Duke  The mooche
Ella and Basie  Satin doll
Duke  Black beauty
Count meets Duke  BDB
Duke and Coltrane  In a sentimental mood

Duke  Cotton tail
Duke  Old man blues
Duke  East St. Louis toodle-o
Duke  Isfahan
Duke  Rock skippin' at the blue note
Mills brothers with Duke  Diga diga do

I got the idea for this mix looking at another Duke mix. Little did I know that it would grow into a 2 volume (and still could be more) mix. And I didn't want to label it as a single artist since these mixes are more of a tribute to the prolific writing of Duke.

same as everyone else: any Duke is a good one. BTW, do you happen to have on CD the Duke Ellington, Mel Torme version of Porgy & Bess?? If so, contact me please as I've looked all over and can't find it.
