I'm not usually this morbid but here goes. I saw someone yesterday that I haven't seen in a long time. I went through some rough times with respect to her back in my high school days when I might have considered a mix like this more seriously. So in a little bout of depression, this is what came out. So here's the story..... If you knew your life would end very shortly, and by whatever means that may come to be is of little importance i guess. But for instance, if it was by your own hand. Would you want a soundtrack for someone to find? Maybe it would be playing in the backround in the movie of your life. If you had total control of the situation, what would you want the person that finds you to hear when they slowly open the door to discover you recently departed? I picked all these songs for either their lyrics or just the melody that seems to make you feel numb. I tried to mostly stay away from overly cliche stuff like Stairway To Heaven also. And the last track is what I'd imagine played at my funeral. Scottish pipes playing Scotland The Brave, shortly followed by Amazing Grace on those same pipes. Then, the whole scene just fades away..............
