Comment:
All songs released in 1978, the year I was born. Before I realised that was the year they were released these were a lot of these were already some of my favorite songs by these artists.Miss You - top 5 Stones' song
Who Are You - one of my favorites to play on Jukeboxes at bars
Sultans of Swing - one of those songs you here on the classic rock station and always turn up
etc, ect.
Feedback:
The year you were born !! Hell Roxanne was one of the first records I bought. (leaves feeling old and depressed)
I'm envious of you-se my 50 for 50 mix to see the songs from the year I was born.
Might have to make myself a mix using this playlist since '78 is my year too. I did something similar to this recently for my younger bro, the year being 1982. Trust me...'82 wasn't NEARLY as good a year. Cheers! -Famous.
There's a great website that helps to do these type of mixes. I'm in no way affiliated with the site, but check it out. I have a link in my profile. Its called acclaimedmusic.net
Yeah, wow, all types of music on here. From Bee Gees to Clash--what a huge spectrum of music.
great year for music
I stated an ambitious project in which I was going to make mixes for each year I've been around, starting in 1965. I did '65, '75, '85 and '95. They're under my "J&C's Dad" name. Lots of cool stuff on this '78 mix.
