Comment:

Shirtless lyrics! Bong-rattling bass! Competent drumwork! A tribute to my pre-punk listening pleasures. If your high school memories are more in tune with Dazed & Confused than Risky Business this might spark some long dormant synapses. Wishing an advanced happy Father's Day to all the dads out there.

Great. Awesome. What Curtis said about the day this week. And I just put that Cheap Trick song on my "Just a glimpse of an ankle..." mix that you missed. ;-)

So true, so true. Missed the predecessor, sadly. My dad's would also have some Three Dog Night on it. Great!

Marvelous work dad! I can almost hear the bongwater bubbling in the background. Great Creem parody cover as well. Hope the kids buy you a nice tie.

Love it, particularly the fact that my favorite UFO song is on this sucker. Good gift for any self-respecting, 70's-rockin' dad!

Well, seems like the kids' music of thirty years ago did indeed turn into this season's dadrock. Holy smoke on the bongwater, loads of classix here, faves far too numerous to mention. P.S.: Tie AND socks.

Great stuff - I can see me putting a lot of this kind of thing on a mix for my dad - as the others said, lots of lovely classics!

Dadrock indeed. Some great picks. Nice to see the Strawbs among the usual suspects.

Great, great stuff indeed. Favorites abound, but I especially dig the Neil track. Hope you have a great Father's Day weekend, Jim. (I've got a 3 day weekend out of it myself, so I'm pretty stoked)

the townshend, bowie and cheap trick are especial faves -- not to mention siberian khatru! -- but they it all resonates for those of us of a certain age. i'll always be proudly dazed and confused. rock on, brother dad.

This isn't your father's Dadrock! Or maybe it is YOUR father's Dadrock - my dad would prefer Banjo at the Gaslight club and the Ben Hur soundtrack. Fabulous Sweet pick! Hell, it's all good. In this instance Pappa CAN preach.

And I forgot to say something nice about the cover. You parody Creem you're gonna get a smile from this kid. Boy Howdy!
