Comment:
This is the art school party mix 1976-1979 part 2 - the funk & disco version. Some serious funk leads into some shameless disco get down and diva stuff that I guess you need to have worn toast points in the 70s to appreciate. Then back to the real funk to close out. The punk version of the parties was my last mix.
Feedback:
Brilliant. Each and every one a winner.
I hurt my back the other day. Otherwise, I would be soooo getting down to this great mix, George. As it is, I am afraid I would not be able to get back up after getting down.
Yeowwww!!! Would love to hear this (hint ... hint) ...
Somethin's funky up in here....
gimme a drink and I party all night to this
Funkengroovin!
Great one George! (Looks like my 70s too) NoV said it...
Superb, George. Perfect picks all the way.
(Aha, I can sign in again) As valis said, Nest of Vipers definitely nailed it - so much great stuff on here. Like the Al Green and AWB!
Brilliant George...I guess everyone below me has nailed it already!
Nice.
Funk-tastic!
I really liked the first of this series. I LOVE this one.
Yeah, this sure does look like a party.
I don't know this stuff as well as the first disc, but I should. (And it looks fantastic!)
Toast Points? Haven't heard that in aaaaa while. I was anti-disco back then but now slowly coming around to appreciate it for what it was not the scene. Thanks!
so effing great
