I also have Xiu Xiu and Melt Banana on a mix - my wife almost hit the red "ejector seat" button in the car this morning.
I like! Tom Waits -> Boredoms -> Sonic Youth is wonderful; like the stretch of the last 5 or so on the first side too. Expose Mr. Littlejeans to more of this and he'll come round, I'm sure.
