Comment:

a tape for jack which while i tried to keep to a sort of targeted and strict likes/dislikes list but still managed to include one of the Sharrocks free noise jazz freaks and one of the most abstract tracks off of The Housebound Spirit. I think he'll hate Soon, but it flows great - Beatles reconditioning fades out and in comes Linda with a sad and tuneful moan, before bam! Noise for six or so minutes, ending in snare taps and into EE's Studio chatting and postpunk guitar squiggle. Makes sense to me. And yes i used 'Beginning' again, but as abstracted sequencing goes this is 50 odd seconds of greatness - aggressive vinyl clicks, vocal micro-contortions and a hint of radio static, allowing me to make the scuffed start of my battered Black Moses LP sound deliberate and maybe even attractive... anyway no tape with Under Me Sleng Teng can be all bad.

Really nice stuff here and well thought-out - interesting to see Erase Errata and Nancy/Lee on the same mix! I enjoyed your comments.
