Man - one of the most cliche mix threesomes is the tired old NY Dolls-Kermit the Frog-QLazzarus combo! :) Really nice mix - I love that Leslie Gore cut. And I apologize for actually using an emoticon in my comments - I'm still having my first coffee of the day.
Love that Lesley Gore cut, too. And the Shangri-Las, and Francoise Hardy and and and . . . Seeing "Goldener Reiter", though, is kinda frightening.
Looks good
Nice picks... bowie, dolls, anderson, platters
Beautiful. You make great mixes, Charlie.
Anyone who goes from Os Mutantes to the Shangri-Las to Brigitte Bardot to the New York Dolls to Kermit the Frog (etc. etc.) is okay in my book. Great stuff!
This looks really, really excellent.
Lots to like here, with lots of interesting segues. You're not the only one aware of the (rainbow) connection between Kermie and David Johansen
Exactly what Rob said!
Nice one
Liking it.
Yes!
You sure are good at the Charlie! Another really nice mix. :)
Really nice Charlie, really nice......(reads) as a lot of fun. To make and to listen to.
Chock full of goodness! Especially Os Mutantes, F. Hardy, Shangri-las, B. Bardot (even though she is kind of a nut now), I could go on and on ...that Laurie Anderson disc came to mind just the other day ...
Good stuff Charlie!
Wow what a lead-off --(and the rest of the mix holds up to it)! Love the whole thing, from Leslie to Laurie...well done!
nice stuff, I see that Ion loved it ;)
