Comment:
Another "for the hell of it" mix. Title from the Simon Joyner song. Revised 7-23-04Feedback:
I like the look of this a lot, Rob!
This looks wonderful, especially the cloing five tracks.
good job, rob-o.
Love the Franz Ferdinand, Van Morrison, Bessie Smith and Wilco.
lovely intro
I second p the swede on that intro sequence. Whole thing looks fantastic, though. A true "mixed genre" effort. Great stuff.
Excellent, Rob. Any mix that has both Gong and Bessie Smith (with Motorhead somewhere in between) has got to be a great listen.
Very cool. Love the Talk Talk through Red Krayola stretch especially.
Looks pretty awesome.
Starts with a great song and doesn't let up
Yup, ditto on the intro -
...oops, sorry, accidentally clicked "submit"! But I meant to finish that comment by saying that I like the Red Krayola - Undertones stretch too!
Think I like the stretch from 1 - 20 best. Mixes can only be improved with the addition of Motorhead.
I love "for the hell of it" mixes. This one is great.
Motorhead, Bessie Smith, and Joe Tex! Nice. Love the Van Mo - John Martyn combo there ...
Good stuff - esp. the Exploding Hearts and chills picks.
it looks like you like a lot of "dance" music. me and my friends are sitting around reading you're mix and we think its pretty bad. sorry. you'll do better next time.
i like it when you let loose and just mixed genre it instead of all those single artists! love thebessie smith to the streets thang...cool bananas. great closer.
