Yeah, G-- knows you're good. ;) Seriously: loads of excellent stuff here. Faves: tx 1-5 - I'm sorry, but I hate Bj÷rk -, Wilson, the wonderful Guillorn, Zorn & Co., and most of all the Renbourn track as a closer. My, I haven't listened to him in ages. If I have a pile . . . well, you know. ;)
KYLIE says YAY...I, on the other hand, can only guess at wot this sounds like as I only know Mr Wilson's track..but in this particular case I know most of the artists!
Agree with much of what Mohr says here, though I appear to be able to stomach Bjork a bit more. Absolutely love the Jackie Wilson cut (my favorite of his), and cuts 1-5 are quite good. Another top notch mix here!
Nice. If I have a pile, as well...
Nice! And, just to add my two cents, I very much approve of Bjork being here. Great opening too.
Awe-inspiring, as usual, Curtis. Love the Fall, Animal Collective, Bjork, and Sunn O))) tracks especially, but it's all good stuff.
Ditto, Curtis: as in "wot they all said."
God knows you're good too.
God is dead. His opinion of me, irrelevant. Kylie on the other hand...
Looks great, Curtis
Nice. Great Bowie, Wilson & Renbourn picks.
My favorite kind of mix: the strange and the familiar ...
I would love to hear how "Lonely Teardrops" acts as the centerpiece to all of these other familiar and unfamiliar sounds - fnatastic.
...wild, wild.....no wonder "clutching tightly" is necessary...
Great Bowie opener. And I'm also fond of that killer soul pick from Jackie Wilson. That Fall song does not sound familiar to me, which intrigues me even more.
