In the beginning I dont know what to do with this Mix.
It could be an "TWELVE INCH CLASSICS" or another Volume of my "PAINTED LOVE" Samplers.Due to the smooth factor of the songs i choosed,i thought to do another "RELAX & THE CITY" " Escape in the 80s" Compilation. But as i looked closer to the Line-Up & re-Listen this compilation i discovered a certain special Mood in every song who reflect various periods of my Live during the 80s & by the way their have another thing in common,
all songs are spoken/sung from the OFF. You know, the Voice in the Background in the "NOIR" Detective-Movies who explains stuff. So that i choose to invent another Category/CD-Line & "MOODS from the Past" was born.
Quiet all of the songs are 12 Inch releases, thats why
there are only 14 Tracks on this CD.

For the Cover Art i choosed some STills from the BEN LIEBRAND VIDEO " The Time machine " they looked very appropiated to me for this Compilation. I also Used some Special "KPT-Effects Filters" for Photoshop to smooth the whole image down, to give this special effect like a Faded Picture in my Memory.
