Comment:

For awhile, I've been trying to create my own "ultimate" chill-out mix. An ambient/downtempo style mix of 2CDs that would be perfect for long, nighttime drives, relaxing after work, or just sort of having in the background. It took me awhile to really work out what I wanted, but I think I suceeded in a really enjoyable chill-out style mix that has pleased me greatly. This is actually a CD mix, but I used the cassette format so that both discs could be placed in the same entry. The areas on disc 2 marked by parenthesis are portions into which I mixed segments from the original War of the Worlds broadcast. It came out nicely, I think, but it's hard to relate in a simple playlist, obviously. A few tracks were taken from Nick Warren's now-legendary Back To Mine mix, but in all honesty, I didn't think it was that great all together. Have I committed a sin?
