Comment:
well finally the summer shows up here in Scandinavia, what you need rigth now'is a dose of soulful reggae, here presented in coverversions only a double CD pack, mostly soulnumbers but even Dylan and Bowie, a lot of these songs have been hits in other cover versions, I counted to at least 15, can you name them ?Feedback:
Wow! This looks excellent, Peter.
What Muzag said.
Reggae grooves sometimes , depending on the feeling , but here are great things on it.

looks great, peter. it's been a lovely weather for a week here in finland but today it's been raining hard all day (which of course means some quality mixin' time)
This looks fantastic!
This is worth looking into if only for the reggae version of The Man Who Sold the World! I can picture (hear?) how many of the others would sound - but have no idea how that Bowie track would translate to reggae - great, thought-provoking mix!

Great mix, I love the Heptones, Ken Boothe & Mighty Diamonds. That Susan Cadogan album is awesome and her cover of Fever is sublime.
...it's ALL good p..! Alternate soundtrack to summer. (reggae=sunshine) Disc 2 looks like it's mostly covers...
I'm pretty sure the original of "First Cut" was PP Arnold.
I'm pretty sure the original of "First Cut" is Cat Stevens; after all, he wrote the song . . .
Holy crap, how'd I miss this? Wonderful! Huzzah!
Spectacular. And I'd love to hear a reggae version of "Knock on Wood" - it sounds both wrong and incredibly right at the same time.
if i perform an amusing trick, or make you some mixes, would you be able to make another copy of this? my little sister LOVES reggae but she only knows stuff like bob marley...
