Cure, PJ & SY tracks are from each artist's respective latest album. The Kings of Convenience track is from their upcoming album (paid for the download from their website). The blues and jazz nods are classics, and Nick Drake's "Tow the Line" is the not-heard-since-'74 tunelette from the new 'Made to Love Magic' collection. The Van Zandt song is the original version of the song that appears on the multiplatinum latest Norah Jones album. The Magnetic Fields' "It's Only Time" is just a gorgeous love song (so much so that I performed the song on an acoustic guitar at a friend's wedding). The Yo La Tengo cover of brit folkie Bert Jansch is from an Matador Records 'For In-Store Play' sampler. The artwork's a Judith Miller painting. So is the title of this comp.
