This final volume features more album tracks, since a lot of the singles wound up on volume one. Now, with these two volumes, I won't ever be without any Cure songs that I ever need to hear again. Last tracks cut: "Wailing Wall", "I'm Cold", "Fire in Cairo", "The Exploding Boy", "A Reflection", "Siamese Twins" and "Seventeen Seconds."

You're correct. I only like two songs on Disintegration and they're both included... one on this disc and one on the previous one.

Used to dig `em. At least the first four LPs, but now... just kinda embarrassed for them. Catalog's getting the Rhino remaster treatment soon, so maybe I'll reconnect to whatever was once decent about this band.

Both look great, Rob. Would have like to've seen "The Exploding Boy" make the final cut, but it looks like it'd be hard to find the room.

I've always love "Fascination Street" is all - but its your mix - and a great one at that! Not a criticism, just asking........somethimes songs you like are like your kids - you can't image why others don't like them too!

Now all you need to do is find someone with Disintigration , Wish , wild mood swings , bloodflowes and -AVOID- the self titled release... and then you could make a volume 3

Nah, the same friend has all of those (and Disintegration is represented by two songs--one on each CD), I just don't like them. The Cure are not a very important band for me--in fact, I'm not really a fan--but I do like all of the songs on these two mixes plus the few that I had to leave off that are mentioned in my comments section. I think the Cure by and large are kind of mopey and irritating. And hey there, 12v, I wasn't mad, just answering your question. :-)

Conversely, the C did have a moderate collection of golden oldies...in fact, Like Cockatoos was a noteworthy track!
