Comment:

Harmonies. Lots of 'em. Always been a sucker for 'em, what can I say. Anyway, about halfway through this I realized that much of it was shaping up a lot like one of Ion Moe's fanfuckingtastic "Pet Soundalikes" mixes... but since most pop-rockers going for the pure harmonic sound tend to dig back into the Brian Wilson playbook, I suppose that's not too surprising.

Looks really nice - I am a bit of a sucker for harmonies too, I must admit. As such I'm glad to see Teenage Fanclub there, and some ever-lovely High Llamas sounds!

ah, sweet harmony . . . "the perfect articulation & interrelation of distinct parts in a complex whole" -- sort of like this mix!

Beautiful. Someday when I re-make my Marley mixes I'll have to ask for this. :-)

I really like the look of this a lot, Marc. Check out the Joggers song "Back to the Future" (especially the last part) for some non-Beach Boys-y harmonizing.

This looks fantastic! Please reserve me a copy if you'd be so kind. I love this kind of stuff. Thanks for the, ummm, kind word about Pet Soundalikes.

Wow - this has a buttload* of great stuff. This makes me even willing to give Phish another try seeing it along side so many personal faves.
*BUTTLOAD: roughly equivilant to "every song is a winner".

Lovely. "Only Living Boy in New York" is a forgotten classic. "Attics of my Life" can make you a little maudlin ... someone should re-do that ...
