I made this CD for a friend who listens to guitar rock top 40 stuff, so I made this CD to show him that there is more to music than Joe Satriani and The Darkness (I don't mind Satriani, but the Darkness????? I didn't like them the first time they came out when they were called Ted Nugent)

Good stuff here. Wow - the Darkness have really polarized people. Personally, I find them pretty awesome, as do (oddly enough) most of my rock snob friends. I think they're MUCH more like Sweet and Cheap Trick than Nugent (who does indeed suck). On the other hand, I find Satriani to be an insufferable guitarist. But opinions, eh....

A great collection that may very well work on converting your friend. I think the best thing you can hope for is that your firend will begin to listen to this stuff along with his top 40 (not instead of it). That Franz tune is the best thing on radio right now. Cheers! -Famous.
