Comment:
A mix I made for Stu, my friend, he says I listen to too many American bands, and I guess he's right. I'm aware this is really just a collection of my favourite stuff from other mixes I've made but nevermind.. it's my birthday soon so I'll finally get some new CDs.
Feedback:
another good 'un. Lovely SP picks. happy b'day!
Wow. When you listed the category as 'indie rock,' you really meant 'pop rock and and couple indie bands.' Fooled me into viewing it. That aside, you repeat artists way too much (especially Smashing Pumpkins), and towards the end you don't even give the listener the benefit of putting a different band between them. I don't think you listen to too much American music...just too much Smashing Pumpkins.
I was giving it him as a sampler of my favourite songs really. I don't like enough different bands, and get completely obsessed by the ones I do like. I say this in every mix I make! I don't remember the last time I bought a CD. I went a couple of years listening to no-one but the Pumpkins and it's really screwed me up.
Ya know what Jay? MrGlue can take a long walk off a short pier as far as I'm concerned- crap like that doesn't need to be posted as a comment. While there is a lot of SP in this mix, it's still an interesting one. Many good choices here, keep up the good work. Cheers! -Famous.
deep somewhere in my subconscious lies dormant that movie and dreams of my own Belgian sweetheart . . . i think i'm gonna go rent that now; my friend andrew says i listen to too many birtish bands, but i tell him bollocks and rasher(s) of bacon
p.s. tomib is so amazing, as is scarlett johansson in her mid-morning skivvies
