To be more accurate this is a breaking up mix, we aren't there yet, don't want to be there yet, but it's coming. Isn't it? Was listening to otis redding this morning after reading a painful email. "my lover's prayer" started the ball rolling on the mix but didn't make the final cut because I couldn't get it to fit between any of these songs. Too bad you don't like mixes, too bad you're so far away, too bad you never kissed me, too bad our thoughts have say. And I said I never rhymed, boy was I wrong.

Great mix. It shows that you really put a lot of thought into song selection and track order. Anybody who makes a mix this good deserves happiness - hope things work out for the best.
Lots of really great songs on here. Track 13 is one of Beck's best, in my opinion.
i like this mix a lot - esp the shins track. "this is a breaking up mix, we aren't there yet, don't want to be there yet, but it's coming. Isn't it?" well i hope it isn't.
I find when I can't get a song to flow in between songs, that it helps to put it first or last. It might be a cheap way out, but it also adds some surprising results/juxtapositions.
Sad stuff. I feel weird saying this but I do hope you right yourselves out. p.s - Where is the cover from? What is it?..
Oh no don't feel weird, I hope we do too. It's long distance which makes the mess of deciding to just be friends even worse.
That's a good tip about putting the song first or last. I do stick to a very strict flow in a lot of my mixes, I should mix it up a bit, lol no pun intended.
The cover is the middle part of a drawing I did of a friend messed around with in a paint program. You can see the belly button at the bottom and of course the chest area/bra.
