Comment:

okay, so this is a redux, resubmission. the first one of this i made, artofthemix deleted, which is always lovely. so, i finally got off my lazy ass and decided to make it again, but i switched out quite a few songs, and also re-did the cover art, so, it's new to you.
these are basically summery, happy, indie-pop songs, with a little garage rock and shoegaze thrown in for good measure. most of the songs take on a relationship angle, the others are just feel good and match the mood of the album.

Ok, I've heard the Slowdive song, Alison referenced 2 times today. Is it a sign? BTW, I will never tire of that Pixies song on a mix.

I wasn't sure how to reply and know you would see it, so here I am. About the ___ vs (the) shark...they're Southern. I don't know if you've ever been in the South (Georgia, namely), but it might explain a bit. Also, I dig this mix a lot. It's nice to see some My Bloody instead of the Cure all the time. I sent your mix, and it was returned. Are you jagging me?

Yep, I'm going to say great cover as well - really lovely mix to go with it too. MBV - Slowdive is magic. And Here Comes Your Man - one of my absolute favourites, ever. Nice.

This is absolutely fucking tremendous and reminds me that I'd like to trade with you desperately. Big, big, big props for your opener, which is one of the most disturbingly gorgeous songs of the '90s.
