Comment:

Track selection definitely inspired by watching too many ever-so-slightly films, the feelings of various types of which I have endeavoured - not, I feel, without some success - to capture. Mix title cherry-picked from the many viable contenders offered by the ever-so-slightly trashy classic 'Bring It On', starring Kirsten Drool - sorry, 'Dunst'. What more need be said?

A wide selection of essential trash, both good and bad : 'Bring It On' (again) of course; 'Dressed To Kill'; 'Election'; two of the 'Naked Gun's; two of the 'Phantasm' movies; Wes Craven's 'Wishmaster'; 'Predator 2'; some damn thing with Alicia Silverstone as some kind of Lolita-like figure...I'm not sure what's come over me lately!

Oh yes, and 'Mean Girls'! It is very much the trashy teen-movie thang I'm going for with the selection.

I saw the end of 'Predator 2'. I liked how they took the horror-movie staple of the villain/monster suddenly coming back from the dead for a pulse-pounding climactic thirty seconds, and extended it to about twenty-five minutes. Excess is good. (Which is why I'm looking forward to reading my recently-acquired copy of Richard Matheson's supposed horror classic 'I Am Legend', in which, apart from our hero, everyone in the world is a vampire. Hunting him! You've probably read it, though, right ...?)

No, but it *sounds* intriguing. As does Morrison's 'Filth'...
