Comment:
This is still a work in Progress. It will be a present for my friend Nick, the rockabilly section is an ode to his hill-billy roots.Musical notes: The Elvis Costello track was an extra recorded when they were doing "Get Happy" it is a cover of a Betty Everett album. I decided to find a number of covers, just for a little variation. Like Aimee Mann's Three Dog Night cover, and Horton Heat's The Entertainer.
The Sleater-kinney track is previously un-released and I found that on some cheap comp. album in this divey record store in Seattle.
My final feelings on all of this: wicked cool!
Feedback:
Anyone who includes Elvis Costello, Supergrass, Marvin Gaye and the Monkees on a mix is aces in my book. Top job.
