Thanks to Thomas Mohr and his nber cool Black Gold of the Sun for the Minnie Riperton track.Feedback:
Loads of Good stuff..esp Minnie, Bud & Sly...great stuff Curtis!
some excellent selections. love some of the track 'groupings'.
13-out are really wonderful
Love the track listing. Some excellent selections here.
I only know 2 songs on this disc; Born Under Punches is one of them. Love that man. Love that song.
Ja! Minnie was sehr boss. I think she could sing about 8 octaves. Also like the T-Heads & Sly pix. Bet the rest is good as well.
8/18
...& I'm betting the abetting (by Mohr) helps round this one off nicely.

Lookin' damned good, Curtis - and I know more tunes on this mix than any of your others combined!
Talking Heads to Can to R. Stevie Moore to Maria Muldaur to Squeeze to the Kinks to Sly & the Family Stone to Funkadelic is inspired. Looks great all around!
Lookin' real good here Burns the Curtis....vive le Ghost! Nice lineup all the way...
This looks classic, Curtis. Please put it on my next pile.
Excellent stuff here - I really love the first part, from Costello -> Talking Heads - especially.
Super pix all around, Curtis. Dig the Ghost->Talking Heads a bunch and the rest looks fantastic, as well.
I've been busy for a while and haven't visited the site for about a month, so I'm sorry if I've missed any of your mixes, old friend. This is a cracker, as usual.
Very nice... some great picks.
I love Minnie Ripperton. And especially that Stevie track. This looks very interesting....
Nice. Nice underused Kinks pick. I'm in the minority on Minnie Ripperton - I've tried but just can't get excited.
