Comment:
I uploaded albms from all these artists to my computer today. I decided to make a mix based on these albums, and selected one choice track from each. I tried to start the mix off with some upbeat tracks then mellow the list off with wilco, michelle shocked, and the violent femmes. With tracks 7-9 the listener get some Indian, Ska, and reggae/rock, I was trying to add some new rythms to the mix. With 10-12 I tried making a bit of a roller coaster, starting very slow with Mogwai, going down and loop fast with the casualties, then leveling out with the specials. THen comes the final drop with three 80s pop/rock classics. I put this album together with my mood, which elevates and declines with the tracks.
Feedback:
Any mix with The Specials and The English Beat already has my approval, but the other tracks are rather good, too.
didn't realise that the band I loved as 'the beat' were called the 'english beat' in the USA
